We just wanted to let you know what data we collect from you and how we store and use it.
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.
I use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used and which countries site visitors are based in. This helps me analyse data about webpage traffic and improve my website in order to tailor it to customer needs. I only use this information for statistical analysis purposes (you are not personally identifiable from it) and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies help me provide you with a better website by enabling me to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives me access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with me.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
You can use the contact form on this site to contact me. The form will send me your name, email address and your query. I will not share that information with any third parties, unless required by law. I will only use that information to respond to your query. The information will be saved in my email program but can be deleted on request.

When I send out a newsletter, MailChimp adds a ‘web beacon’ to the email. These are tiny graphic files that contain unique identifiers that enable us recognize when a subscriber has opened an email or clicked on a link. These technologies record each subscribers email address, IP address, date, and the time associated with each open and click for a campaign. Mailchimp shares this data with me so I can tell how an email campaign has performed and what actions subscribers took. This helps me to learn what interests my readers.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, using the link at the bottom of each email. If you unsubscribe, I will delete your contact details but you can resubscribe via my website at any time.
I am based in Australia. This means that in signing up for our material, you agree to have your contact details transferred outside of the EU for the purposes above.
I will not share your information with any third parties, unless required by law.
